Born and raised in Calgary, Dr. Adam Issler is passionate about helping people move well, perform at their best, and continue doing the activities they love. He completed his Bachelor of Human Kinetics in Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of British Columbia before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic, graduating Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. His background in strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, and evidence-based chiropractic care has shaped a treatment philosophy centered around optimizing movement, improving performance, and building long-term resilience.
Dr. Adam has worked with athletes and active individuals across a variety of performance settings, while also treating patients of all ages and activity levels. Whether helping someone recover from surgery, overcome persistent pain, return from injury, or improve athletic performance, he believes successful care starts with understanding each person’s goals. His approach combines hands-on treatment, individualized rehabilitation, and movement-based strategies to help patients move with confidence and perform at their best.
Beyond the clinic, Adam has provided sideline medical coverage for rugby, hockey, and triathlon events, while also working as a strength and conditioning coach for athletes ranging from youth competitors to professionals. These experiences have further shaped his approach to rehabilitation, performance, and injury prevention, reinforcing the importance of helping people return to the activities they enjoy while building lasting resilience.
Outside the clinic, Adam enjoys staying active through hockey, golf, skiing, and squash. When he’s not training or spending time outdoors, you’ll likely find him experimenting with a new recipe in the kitchen.
